Full Tilt Welcomes Dwan with Official Website
One of the coolest features of the ”durrrr” Website is the welcome video from Team Full Tilt Poker poker players Howard Lederer, Andy Bloch, Jennifer Harman and others. The Tom Dwan video on Full Tilt Poker also features an appearance from the legendary online poker player, Tom "durrrr" Dwan.
”durrrr” has been keeping himself busy lately with a new Tom Dwan blog, which will actually be authored from poker experiences of Tom "durrrr" Dwan himself. Not to mention the durrrr Challenge which is on its 27,185th poker hand out of the projected 50,000 total poker hands.

durrrr Updates Page from Full Tilt Poker
The new website section gives internet poker players and fanatics the chance to track this historical Full Tilt Poker Challenge and check out regular statistical updates. With this fresh “durrrr Challenge” portal poker players can track all the action and look at each hand played during this poker challenge, and look at lots of statistical information, including how many hands were played, session time, amount won, average won during each hand and lots more.
Around six months ago, the twenty-three year old internet poker professional dealt out a heads-up poker challenge open to any poker player with the cash, time and capability to accept it. Any player entering the challenge has to wager $500,000 against Dwan’s $1.5 million. Dwan’s challenge specifies that at least 50,000 online poker hands need to be played at the same time at 4 or more poker tables of no-limit Hold’em or pot-limit Omaha. At the end of the poker challenge, the poker player who has more money will secure the pool. In essence if you enter the challenge and win a dollar after the 50,000 poker hands, then you will secure durrrr’s $1.5 Million, but if he wins by $1 then he will earn your $500,000.
Up to now, some poker pros have accepted to play the “durrrr challenge”, including WSOP Champ Phil Ivey and David Benyamine, but, only Patrick Antonius has said yes to the poker challenge. Thus far, both players have engaged in a total of 20,647 poker hands out of 50,000, with Tom Dwan ahead $726,546 total.

Dazzling New Encore Las Vegas, Nevada Hotel and Casino to Unveil

Las Vegas, Nevada magnate Steve Wynn without a doubt has something new to be anxious about this Christmas season. Already investing nearly $2.3 billion, the spectacular hotel and nightclub dubbed Encore will kick-off this week.
This plush hotel and casino is joined to the enormously popular Wynn Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip. As most Vegas casino-hotel investors are doing their best to find a direction to keep their hotels afloat, Wynn is having no problems with his $billion hotel investments.
The 2000 room hotel and casino is another incredible creation by Wynn. The main focus of this building will be the nightclub, called XS. Wynn has taken notice in the recent past that nightclubs are a huge attraction in Sin City, and not primarily the hotels and casinos like they used to be. Steve says that LV nightclubs as a rule produce more riches and are a massive draw for the young group.
Wynn has also created an over-the top steakhouse near the XS nightclub. Inspired by the famous Colombian painter, Fernando Botero this circular restaurant has a large Botero statue as the centerpiece. Not quite impressive as the nightclub which it is joined to; the Botero steakhouse is intended to match rather well with the ostentatious Sin City nightclub.
The inspiration behind XS and Botero is a type of St. Tropez feeling, where the celebration carries on without a break and the majority of the party scene takes place near a swimming pool or beach setting. Things are not the same in Las Vegas, where many people fancy parties to casinos at the present time.

Evel Knievel’s Son to Fly Over Mirage Hotel’s Resurrected Volcano

After close to 1 full year of no activity, the Mirage Megaresort’s famous volcano will be reborn bigger and more stunning than it has ever been. The famous LV casino-hotel is trying really hard to draw as many vacationers as feasible to enjoy their transformation.
This upcoming New Year’s Eve, the daredevil and stuntman Robbie Knievel will attempt a motorcycle jump over the Mirage Hotel and Casino’s artificial volcano. This jump will celebrate the ending of a three-year transformation of the LV casino and hotel. Over the course of this period, the Las Vegas hotel has shelled-out more than $110 million enhancing their accommodations and suites.
The upcoming New Year’s Eve stunt is said to be Knievel’s final feat in the United States. The presentation will go on for 5 mins. and present fireworks and a high-tech music recording. The music for the soundtrack has been recorded by Mickey Hart formerly of the Grateful Dead. Robbie Knievel is the son of the late Evil Knievel-one of the world’s first and most renowned daredevils.
The Sin City Mirage was developed in 1989 by Las Vegas tycoon Steve Wynn and was considered Las Vegas, Nevada’s first megaresort. This improvement is one of a large group of hotels on the Vegas Strip recently. This hotel-casino anticipates that this stunt will pull a great number of visitors to the LV hotel. The plan behind the upgrade is to compete with other popular LV hotel and casinos like the Bellagio hotel and casino.

Oscar De La Hoya against Manny Pacquiao Considered to be the Biggest Vegas event of the year

The Las Vegas, Nevada event most boxing fanatics have been waiting forever to see is finally taking place this week. Oscar De La Hoya will fight one of the sport’s present greatest boxers, Pacquiao. This contest is taking place on the 6th of December in the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.
No doubt that there has been much conversation in LV regarding this match. The Golden Boy has cut his weight down to 147 lbs. to participate as a welterweight, and some folks say that De La Hoya could not be as strong since the weight drop. Manny Pacquiao has already contended on one occasion as a lightweight and wants to compete now the welterweight category. Manny “Pac-Man” Pacquiao is also the current lightweight champion , and is judged by many professionals to be the best boxer at the moment.
This is Oscar De La Hoya’s first journey back to Sin City for a match since he fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. in May of last year. This match is certain to be a sell-out for the MGM Arena Las Vegas. Vacationers to Las Vegas have dwindled in the past few months, but Las Vegas events like this competition really have a way of bringing folks to Vegas.
This bout will unquestionably be one to remember as it consists of the two finest boxers of our time in a 12 round welterweight bout. Oscar De La Hoya and ”Pac-Man” Pacquiao tickets are available to buy. If you were to check out only one Sin City event in 2008, this is certainly the LV Event to check out.
